How to Measure
Follow our simple guide for accurate measurements
Recess Fitting (Inside the Window Frame)
Measure the Width
Measure the width of your window recess at the top, middle, and bottom. Use the smallest measurement as your width. This ensures your blind fits perfectly within the recess.
Measure the Height
Measure the height from the top of the recess to the window sill on the left, middle, and right. Use the smallest measurement as your height.
Check the Depth
Make sure there's enough depth in your window recess for your chosen blind. Check the product specifications for minimum recess depth requirements.
Face Fitting (Outside the Window Frame)
Measure the Width
Measure the width you want the blind to cover. We recommend adding at least 50mm on each side of the window frame for optimal light blocking and privacy.
Measure the Height
Measure from where you want the top of the blind to the window sill (or below). Add at least 50mm above the frame to accommodate the headrail.
Check for Obstructions
Make sure there are no handles, locks, or other obstructions that might interfere with the blind's operation.
